Tango began as a guide maker, and its homepage still says so. tango.ai now sells the next step: the Tango Agent runs the guide as an automation on your screen while you watch.
Third-party models analyse what you submit
Tango's privacy policy says personal data you submit to the automation tool is analysed by third-party large language models, including multimodal ones. Its security page names Microsoft, OpenAI and Google as examples and says they may not retain your data or train on it. That is one more processor in your register for someone to approve.
stepkeep writes the guide in your browser
stepkeep writes the numbered guide with screenshots in your browser, with no model and no server. It reads the label of the button, link or field you used: Select Deal stage, Type in Customer email, Click Save changes. You edit it, add your logo and send the file.

Check it: open DevTools, go to the Network tab and record a guide. No requests go out, so no screenshot reaches us or a model provider and there is no transfer to assess.
